A new affordable daycare center has opened on St Roch Ave, in the location of the former YMCA Early Learning Center, which closed last summer.

The Grace Daycare & Learning Center, which was established in Stamford in 2017, is unique.

In addition to the innovative, creative and accredited curriculum, the fees are affordable.

And parents are offered live streaming of their child on any device throughout the day.

There is also a continuous summer program (open 50 weeks/year, closed 2 weeks in August).

Grace Daycare & Learning Center plans to provide children with breakfast, lunch and a snack.

Grace Daycare & Learning Center has an enriched and diverse learning environment. In fact, there are more similarities to a school than a typical daycare center.

Rather than staying in one room throughout the day, the children visit the science room, library, dance room and a music room, in addition to time on the playground.

There is a Registered Nurse on staff and all staff are CPR, First Aid, Epi-Pen and medication trained.

The daycare is Covid-19 compliant, starting with curbside drop-off and pickup. All staff are trained monthly to follow OEC and CDC guidelines and regulations, and are PPE trained (gloves, face shields, shoe covers). They are required to wear masks, use proper hand hygiene and frequently disinfect chairs, tables, doorknobs and toys.
