Adapting to the pandemic has been difficult for students of all grades and their families. I would like to help relieve parents/guardians who have become homeschooling teachers in addition to their usual occupation or responsibilities. At the Academy for Performing Arts, I was president of the National Honor Society, and I organized the peer tutoring program for our school as well as tutored students myself. Now I study as an undergraduate at Columbia University in the City of New York. I am part of many student groups including one that tutors middle school students from the Morningside Heights/Harlem area.
I would like to relieve you from your teaching job and help your children with their studies. Through one-on-one ZOOM sessions, I will guide them through their assignments so the entire family can finish the school year strong. If we finish their schoolwork and you still have a few things to finish up with your work, I am open to continuing our session by playing a game or watching a movie together through ZOOM. As for the high school students, I am also available to guide students with their college applications and SAT/ACT test prep.
The rate is $17 per hour. Contact me through email firstname.lastname@example.org or by cell phone (908)510-1194 so that you can learn more and we can hopefully set up your child’s first session. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
